We have fun the first Friday of the month because downtown Woodland celebrates art at the First Friday Art Walk. Visitors come to see not only art, but music and even have the chance to often play with Mosaic Children’s Museum. First Friday on March 6 is shaping up to be another fun evening with The Truckaderos playing at the Roth Building and numerous shops and restaurants staying open late.

KLJ Studios decided to add to the fun by featuring not one, but several guest photographers. They debuted some of their work to rave reviews at course selection night at Woodland High and have agreed to come show their skills at our studio for the evening.

We are pleased to host the promising photographers of Woodland High School. Their teacher, Scott Coppenger, says the students have been working hard to make sure they showcase their very best work and are eager to show Woodland their talent.  Some of the pieces will be available for purchase so you may be lucky to have the opportunity to show off local artists in your home.

Either way, come on by KLJ Studios at 424 1st Street in downtown from 6 to 8 to support our students. We guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Before you leave, stop by and say hi to Kelly, owner and lead photographer of KLJ Studios. She loves to talk about the importance of photography for making connections and building self-esteem. This is her favorite video that explains how important photos can be:
