The Fairy Event is Coming!

Every March for several years, KLJ Studios at 424 1st Street in downtown Woodland has turned the studio space over to a magical transformation and becomes a sparkling forest where glowing dragonflies and sparkling fairies reside.

A fund-raising event for foster children in Yolo County, sessions are offered for two consecutive weekends (March 14 & 15 and March 21 & 22) and special Friday sessions for foster children (March 13 and 20). Foster families will receive free brag books featuring their foster child/children.

The studio provides the costumes (though you can bring your own, if you like!), and complimentary hair and makeup for teens and adults. We can do a little bit of sparkle makeup for the younger ones if their parents agree. If you ever dreamt about kissing a frog, catching fireflies in a lantern, or posing with a butterfly perched on your hand, then this is the event for you.

For those not feeling the fairy vibe, grab a pair of overalls and come to our magic fishing spot. We also offer a fishing theme.

 There is a $50 entry fee which will be put towards your purchase. Individual portraits starting at $95 and collections starting at $395. 10% of the proceeds will be donated.

Kelly Lynn graduated with a degree in Photography from Cal State University, Sacramento and recently moved to Southern California. Her passion for photography, light and music brought into the focus of concert photography. Without the use of a flash Kelly Lynn uses strictly stage and natural light to light her vibrant images. It is because of her skill with low light settings that has given her that chance to work with such bands as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with Stevie Nicks, Dave Matthews Band, Fall Out Boy, MotionCity Soundtrack and Lynard Skynard.
