Newborn Portraits ~ Woodland California Newborn Portrait Photographer

On February 25th, 2019, KLJ Studios Photography photographed another adorable newborn session. KLJ hosted Colette, Malcom and Amara Bella. The session was held in Downtown Historic Woodland in our photography studio at 424 First Street. The Lead Photographer for the Session was KLJ Studios Lead Photographer Kelly Jordan and the Second-Shooter and assistant was Beckie.
Here are some things that happened during the session: Amara Bella was so sweet and calm. She knew when she didn't need her pacifier and she would automatically try and sooth herself before requesting that she will have the pacifier. now, please. We photographed three different looks for Amara Bella and, of course, family portraits with Mom and Dad. Malcom was the perfect assistant for Kelly during the session which gave Colette some time to relax and enjoy watching Kelly capture amazing images of her little one.
Here are some things we learned about our family: Amara Bella is what we call a rainbow baby. For those of you that don't know the definition of a rainbow baby, it is a baby born after a miscarriage, stillborn or neonatal death. It is called a rainbow baby because it is like a rainbow after a storm: something beautiful after something scary and dark.
Colette, you are one of the bravest and strongest women I have ever met. It was an honor to photograph you and your family and I can't wait to photograph all your future memories. Welcome to the family all three of you!
