I'm having so much fun capturing large family group portraits this season. It makes for a mixture of personalities that makes for pretty cool photos. These guys were for sure a fun bunch. I felt so comfortable being myself and with the relaxed atmosphere, the family felt comfortable posing together. Grandpa was definitely a favorite of mine this season. What a great guy! This session is gong to be a gift for Grandma.
Remember that one of the best holiday gifts are family portraits. When the family is all together you'd better capture that photo while you can! I think Grandma will love this gift. It is something that she will be able to cherish for years to come.
I have only a few holiday sessions left for this holiday season, so book yours now!

Holidays are a great time for family photos because everyone is in the same place at the same time. I had the joy of spending the afternoon on Thanksgiving with the Rose Family, who graciously agreed to meet up before Thanksgiving dinner. This entire family was a blast! Each distinct personality blended with the other, creating a unique and fun family experience. Best wishes to all of them in the upcoming year. Please enjoy this little preview!
I met Carla, Chris, Bryan and Evan about 9 months ago when I enrolled my daughter in Precious Pumpkins Daycare. My Abby loves to play with Evan because he is so sweet and fun. Evan recently introduced Abby to his love of trains. Looks like the boys have a love of chickens, also! Capturing images with your child's favorite toy or activity is extremely important and fun because it will capture who they are at that point in their lives. Bryan's favorite thing to do at home is to hang out with his chickens. Both of this little guys were amazing during our session. The chickens did pretty good too!! Can't wait to release the rest of the images to the family!
Keep those Holiday Sessions coming!! I can't tell you how much I love this time of year.
One reason is because I get the chance to photograph great families like Kelley, Rob and their two adorable little men, Simon and Ethan. Ethan was a total ham in front of the camera, while Simon was a little shy at first. I brought out my bag of tricks and Simon turned into the ultimate smiler. I love that they brought along their Corgi, Biscuit! If your fur baby is a huge part of your family make sure to incorporate them into your holiday photos. We also snuck in Kelley's mom, Susan, and her step Dad, Lou, however, I wanted to keep those images a surprise! Can't wait for you guys to see the rest of the images.

One of the most important times in a person's life is High School graduation. It's the time when you begin to become independent from your parents and start your future as an adult. Making sure to capture that time with a senior portrait is extremely important. One day you will want to go back and see how you have changed and blossomed.
It's also important to choose the best college for who you are and what you want to do. When photographing Elizabeth's senior portraits one of the many things we discussed was her choice of colleges. I still vote for San Diego!! I have always loved to visit San Diego and my friends who attended school there loved it.
Elizabeth was a natural in front of the camera and you can tell this is one young lady who will be going places in the future!

I love my family! I love my clients!
My brother, Stephen, and my beautiful sister-in-law, Lucy hire me every year to photograph their holiday portraits. Addison, their daughter, who is only 2 months older than my daughter and a delightful 2-year old, really likes her Aunt Kiki to photograph her. She even walks around with her toy camera and says "Aunt Kiki, where are you?'. I love my nephew, Antonio, he is such a sweet young man and loves everyone for exactly who they are. He is going to be the perfect man to look after his younger sister and girl cousin. Growing up I never thought Stephen would be the family man type, but he sure seems to be a natural and dedicated to the max. I love you guys!
